The London Greek Film Festival is the crossroad between West and East that leads you to discover and explore the idea of globalisation through a Hellenic glance; it aims to introduce Greek film to the international public, but at the same time fosters a challenge for moving image artists from all over the world to showcase anything Greek! The London Greek Film Festival aims to be the international meeting point for the Greek moving image.London Greek Film Festival is a project developed by CosmoCinema Ltd, and realized by London Greek Film Festival Ltd. Founder and artistic director of the festival is the Film/Stage Director Christos Prossylis. The LGFF is a unique opportunity which will unite Greek producers and authors from all over the world, in addition to artists that exhibit Greek historical or cultural themes and individuals whose films make use of the Greek language, or whose works are produced in the country itself. The LGFF is a new concept in that it invites work from international artists of Greek heritage as well as from others who have an interest in Greece and Greek related themes. The festival concept is as flexible as new media and the web - transcending borders and allowing art to explore life in a globalised world.

Δεύτερο Φεστιβάλ Ελληνικού Φιλμ στο Λονδίνο, 30 Οκτωβρίου – 1 Νοεμβρίου 2009
Το φεστιβάλ ελληνικού κινηματογράφου του Λονδίνου είναι ένα σταυροδρόμι μεταξύ δύσης και Ανατολής που σας οδηγεί να ανακαλύψετε και να εξερευνήσετε την ιδέα της παγκοσμιοποίησης μέσα από μια ελληνική ματιά. Στοχεύει στο να εισάγει τον ελληνικό κινηματογράφο στο διεθνές κοινό αλλά ταυτόχρονα αποτελεί και μια πρόκληση για μετακινούμενους καλλιτέχνες από όλο τον κόσμο ώστε να γνωρίσουν οτιδήποτε ελληνικό! Το φεστιβάλ στοχεύει να γίνει το διεθνές σημείο συνάντησης για την ελληνική κινούμενη εικόνα! Το φεστιβάλ είναι ένα project του CosmoCinema Ltd και υλοποιείται από την London Greek Film Festival Ltd. Ιδρυτής και καλλιτεχνικός διευθυντής του είναι ο σκηνοθέτης θεάτρου και κινηματογράφου Χρήστος Προσσύλης. Το φεστιβάλ φιλοδόξει να ενώσει έλληνες παραγωγούς και συγγραφείς από όλο τον κόσμο μαζί με εκθέτες που ασχολούνται με ελληνικά ιστορικά και πολιτιστικά θέματα καθώς και άτομα που στις ταινίες τους χρησιμοποιούν την ελληνική γλώσσα ή η παραγωγή των project τους γίνεται στην Ελλάδα. Η ιδέα του φεστιβάλ είναι νέα και δυναμική όπως τα νέα μέσα επικοινωνίας και το διαδίκτυο και υπερπηδά τα σύνορα, επιτρέποντας στην τέχνη να εξερευνήσει νέες ενότητες σε έναν παγκοσμιοποιημένο νέο κόσμο, πάντα όμως με γνώμονα την Ελλάδα και την ελληνική πολιτιστική κληρονομιά!
